8 November 2013 – Lliber Circular

We met in Lliber in the car park in the centre of the village for today’s U3A walk.   As parking is restricted at the start of the walk we did a car share.   David and Rosemary were kind to offer their hire car in case the track was rough
I do not know what this walk was called, but it covered parts of two walks we had done with the Monday Club.   We parked half way between Lliber and Gata, and walked in the direction of Pedreguer.
Once more the pace was very comfortable, and we hardly noticed that we were gaining height without too much physical effort.
There were sixteen on the walk, with another two joining the group for the after walk meal in Lliber.   The weekly lunch seems very popular, with almost all of the group attending.   Unlike our Monday Group who only stop for a drink after the walk.
John extended the walk slightly to take us to the other side of the hill for some excellent views of Montgo and the coast
We had now joined part of our Pedreguer walk to Font de Axia, though well short of the font itself.   It was interesting to see how different it all looked going in the opposite direction to our usual walk.
Then it was back downhill to the cars and lunch in Lliber
