Jan is unable to tackle our usual Monday walks due to her
broken wrist, but she does miss them. So
we meet with David and Rosemary each week for a suitable walk on good paths.
This week we met in Calpe, near the Ifach, and walked along
the promenade and out to the dive centre.
The bright sun brought out the crowds, and the cafe was
pretty busy. But we were still able to
get a table with a lovely view of Calpe and the Ifach
This is a favourite walk during the hot summer months as it
is a level walk and quite shaded in parts.
There is also an excellent footpath along the side of the
coast all the way from Calpe to the dive centre
Next week we plan a train ride to Benidorm to explore the
old town and find somewhere suitable for lunch – weather permitting of course.
