Jan is still unable to walk due to her broken wrist, but I
joined the group for today’s circular Segaria walk.
The walk starts with a steep climb, and we soon passed a
goat herder and his dog
Watching the goats was a good excuse to have a short break
The highlight of this walk is the constantly changing views
as you walk around the hill.
We eventually reached the top and stopped for a short
break. Though sunny there was a cold
wind and it was too uncomfortable to have lunch here.
Most unusual to see Peter sitting and taking it easy, he is
usually off exploring whilst the rest of us take a break.
Most
of the path is difficult, and requires close attention to where you put your
feet. But this section allows time to
look around and admire the view
Going downhill is every bit as difficult, and indeed more
than one slipped and fell. But
fortunately no injuries today.
Almost at the end, and time for a short break before the
final trek back to the cars and a well deserved drink in Beniarbeig.

Next week Peter leads his “newish” Tarbena walk. Meet at the Piscena in Parcent at 0930 to
car share and reduce the number of cars.
